Hi Jenny,
Sadly, I don't have a copy of the book you reference so am unable to do much with your information. Perhaps you could scan the pages you reference and send to me to assist the identification process.

Hello Ian
My name is Noel Frappell, I am a descendant of William Blyton. My lineage is from Wiliam to his son Henry Blyton, his daughter Eva Blyton who married Arthur Frappell, they are my grandparents.
I am writing a book from Thomas Akers/ Acres to my father Charles Herbert Frappell. Im wondering if you had any data on William and Henry's life. Their story is part of my book. Im happy to share what I acquired also.
I look forward to your reply.
Thank you
Noel Frappell
Hi Noel,
All the information we have is available on our website.

Ian,
Here is the very helpful Death Certificate I purchased relating to Thomas Fleming. Could you add it to his other documents on Monaro Pioneers please. This shows that his mother’s name was not Mary, as my sister Gwen Hubert had thought, and set in train the search for a more likely birth registration from the UK records.
Kindest regards – and thanks for all your wonderful work.

WELLSMORE

Ian,
I am onforwarding the 4 Certificates I have recently purchased which will clear up some variable information relating to our family history and leave a few more questions.
As you will see there is a variety of spelling for Wellsmore and a variety of names for Dad’s little sister Madeline who was Madeline Lucy at birth and Lucy Madeline when she died from ruptured appendix at 5 years but was always called Madeline.
One thing which is puzzling is that my sister has brief access to what was said to be Ellen Sarah Wellsmore’s diary which showed that my great grandfather James was born at Queanbeyan 1838 but his son James’ birth registration here indicates he was born at Yass. Also his age is not correct as it should be 33 I think.
We have found in the National Library of Australia an index to letters indicating that convict Thomas Willsmore/Wellsmore had a connection to Thomas Rose at Yass but the actual letter has not yet been found though 6 shepherds are mentioned without naming them so it could be that James got his father’s previous place of work mixed up with the new position convict Thomas took in 1838 as a policeman at Bungendore which was overseen from Queanbeyan by A.T. Faunce.
Could you please add these Certificates to the MP records.
Kindest regards
Jan Campbell/Wellsmore
