Jas. F. Allen, Funeral Director, 
1921, Formerly Mr. C. Willis.

Jas. F. Allen, Funeral Director, of Murray Street, Cooma, purchased the business from Mr. C. Willis about five years ago. Funerals were then conducted and carried on by the old horse system, but Mr. Allen, being a progressive man, dispensed with the horses and purchased a Ford motor hearse, which he later replaced with a Buick hearse and a Studebaker mourning coach. Funerals are conducted with pomp and reverence.
