Laurence Harnett

PATRICK HARNETT, brother of Laurence Harnett, arrived in Sydney on 16th July, 1832, having made the trip from overseas in the ship "Sophia." On 27th February, 1839, he was appointed Colonial Surgeon and practised his profession in Macquarie Street, Sydney. He died on 13th September, 1844. Though he did not reside on Manaro, his estate in 1848 was the applicant for Bredbo Run, of 30,720 acres, afterwards held by the Clifford family.
