The above links are to two files, being synopsis of these Monaro Pioneer families.
The first file being for James LYNCH and his marriage to Julia McCARTHY, and their children. I am a gg grandson of James and Julia, on my maternal side.
The second file is for Johanna McCARTHY (nee Irwin/Kirwan) (Julia's mother) and her children, and includes the children of their respective marriages:-
Julia, married to James LYNCH;
William, married Ann LECOUNT;
John, married Catherine CULLEN; and
Michael, married Mary Ann RYAN
The majority of the information in these two files has been verified, as far as possible, by reference to official records, and is the result of research by a number of people over many years. You will note that there are several links to other Monaro Pioneer families within the marriages of the children of these Pioneers (and further links via other descendant generations, not shown here).
I would love hear from anyone who has an interest in any of the connections and am happy to swap notes, although I am a little scarce on info on some of the families mentioned.
In particular I am searching for, and would love to obtain, copies of photographs of any of the LYNCH & McCARTHY's mentioned, or of their descendants, as we have not located any photos of any of these people.
Perhaps some of your readers may know where we may be able to find some.
I hope that the above is of some interest to you and your website readers, keep up the good work.
Kind Regards
Chris LOUDON
