HISTORICAL PHOTOS

Thiso's Store - What Year anybody? - whose cars? - the Holden Station Wagon is very familiar?

1. Pattrick, this shop was conducted by my mother in the 1930's. My brother has a photo taken in the backyard of my sister holding me in her arms. I look to be about 3 years of age. I'll try to get a copy to send onto you. Allan Woodhouse
2. Don't know who owned the big grey car but the other one is Mrs Gloria Booshand and she used that car as a school bus for out to Charlie Taylors way and also did the mail in it.  She told me she had that car until well into the 70's before one of the children wiped it out. regards from Bev Francis

Hi Pattrick,
Thought you may be able to use a picture of this woodcut done by I SARD (may be SAAD) dated 23-5-1957.
My mother purchased this at about that time but I don't knpw anything about the woodcarver.
The woodcut is 360mm high x 165mm wide x 45mm deep.
I have shot it with a blue background, which I have removed.
Regards,
Peter Goed. 08.03.06
