William Crisp
Kaluda c?
Donald Crisp’s father William owned Jimenbuan, Dalgety, his family property. William later bought Kaludah, Rock Flat. When he sold this property Donald and Mona moved from ‘Kaludah’ to “Tanasari” Holt’s Flat, later changing the name of the property to “Kimo”. The Crisps bought ‘Kimo’ in 1928, son Anthony was born that year, and later boarded at Canberra Grammar School. When he left school he came home and worked on the property with his father.
Anthony married Elaine White in Masterton, New Zealand in 1954, their family Mark, Meredith and Suzanne.
Tony played cricket for the Nimmitabel team, Donald and Tony were involved in the Anglican Church.
In 1956 Donald and Mona retired to Cooma and Manly, and Tony took over running the property until 1973, when the farm was sold to the Cottle Family.
Tony and Elaine now live in Bega.
