This information was put together by Leon Weston from
Minutes held by Roger Haylock, the material was submitted by Margaret Weston who
also makes the following reflections. " There was an entry in the Silk
History (at the 2003 Back to Nimitybelle Celebrations), where Noel (Mick) George
Silk was born to Olga and Fred Silk on 21st December 1924 at Nimmitabel,"
also " our daughter Colleen was born there on 10th June 1964, when I
failed to make it any further (9 kms!). I am sure she would have been the last
baby born there. Sister Philip was the Sister in Charge at that time.
