LOCATION 28km Cooma, 32km Nimmitabel,
COUNTRY Some of the best of the Monaro. Predominantly open, rolling high plains in the Dangelong basin, the property ranges in altitude between 900m and 1,000m above sea level. Soils range from heavy black and red basalt with some granite and shale on the higher points. Nearly 2,000 acres have improved pastures including lucerne, phalaris, cocksfoot, ryegrass and clovers. The remainder carries strong native grasses and herbages. A sound pasture balance providing a secure fodder supply throughout the seasons. In past years crops of maize, millet, triticale, wheat, lupins and sunflowers have been grown. Shade and shelter timber only remains in strategic areas.
WATER & RAINFALL The Numeralla River forms part of the north eastern boundary and the permanent Dangelong Creek and the semi-permanent Jack White’s Flat Creek together with springs and paddock dams provide stock water supplies. Annual average rainfall is 20" – 500mm.

Homestead c. 1860’s Overlooking Dangelong Creek, ‘U’ shape in design and built of stone, quarried on the property, the homestead consists of three wings. The North Wing has 3 bedrooms, sitting room, dining room, renovated kitchen [gas appliances], bathroom and verandahs on the northern and southern sides. The West Wing has 2 bedrooms, 2 store rooms, office and laundry and the South Wing is a self contained flat with 2 bedrooms, lounge, kitchen and bathroom.
Features of the homestead include original shingle roof, cedar joinery – doors, windows, architraves and skirting boards, slate floor, fireplaces throughout, gas / water central heating.
