3Headstone of Nehemiah Thomas, John McMahon.
Nehemiah's grave is about 30 metres from the Bombala River just belowthe house now known as Bibbenluke Lodge, formerly the homestead on Bibbenluke Station. Reference to the grave is in Frank Allen's book. Nextto Nehemiah's grave is that of Thomas Park Milikin.
The inscription on Nehemiahs gravestone is:
"MDCCCLII, to the memory of Nehemiah Thomas who departed this life on6th March 1852, aged 53 years.
They that sleep in Heaven
Will God bury unto Himself.
