Joseph William Walker's father was Joseph Walker who has an Irish convict who arrived on the “Friendship “ 16.2.1800 at the age of 13. He was convicted in Dublin & sentenced to life. He married Frances Hardcastle 30/8/1828 at Parramatta
(V1828640 12/1828) Frances was also a convict who arrived on the Minstrel 25/10/1812. Joseph died 28/11/1843 (v1843298). He worked for William Roberts the road builder before commencing a Baker shop in Phillip Street Sydney.
Catherine Ward (wife of Joseph William Walker) was the daughter of Thomas Ward, Irish convict who arrived Canada 1815. He was sentenced in 1814 at Meath & Co. Thomas married Catherine (Kitty)
Sheehy (Sheene/Sheahan) in 1825 (v1825110). Kitty was also an Irish convict who arrived Brothers 1824.

JOSEPH WALKER:
Joseph Walker was a convict who arrived in Port Jackson aboard the ship " Friendship " on the 16th February 1800. He was aged 13 years. The ship had sailed from Cork in Ireland.
His exact crime is not known at this stage but he was sentenced to Life Transportation in the Dublin Court.
Joseph worked for William Roberts, the road builder, before commencing a bakers shop in Phillip Street in Sydney.
Occupation: Road builder, baker.
FRANCES HARDCASTLE:
Frances Hardcastle was a convict who arrived in Port Jackson on the 25th October 1812 aboard the ship " Mistrel ". The ship had sailed from England on the 4th June 1812 and arrived at Sydney Cove on the 25th October 1812, a voyage of 143 days. It was the " Mistrel's " 1st trip to the colony.
