ARTHUR³ MORTLOCK (THOMAS², WILLIAM¹) was born 7 September 1856 in Majors Creek, reg Braidwood He married EMMA 'SARAH EMILY ' BOATE 9 October 1879 in St John's C/E Church, Cooma, NSW, daughter of GEORGE BOATE and MARGARET STUBBS.  She was born 21 December 1861 in Kangarang, Taralga, NSW, and died 10 June 1934 in Queanbeyan, NSW.

Arthur had purchased 440 acres of land at Billilingra and also acquired land at Bredbo.

He was living at Waniass St. Queanbeyan, NSW when he passed away on the 8th January 1938 and was buried on the 10 January 1938, Section C2/18, C/E Tharwa Rd, Riverside Cemetery, Queanbeyan.  D/C of father states children - Emma is listed.
