William and Mary born 1853 were twins and the last of David and Elizabeth's children.

Mary married David Scott who was listed as being a farmer as well as a bootmaker by trade. They resided in Bombala. It was Mary's daughter Elizabeth who married her cousin Henry Hardaker when only seventeen.

After the birth of her second child, William, Mary died (1877) and David remarried, a widow of the name Bridget Riley about five years after Mary's death. David and Bridget had seven children together.

David, Elizabeth, their daughter Mary Scott, son Samuel and his wife Ann, along with Joseph, Harriet and Emily Wakeling are all buried in a marked gravesite on a hill at "One Tree Hill", the property now owned by the Haylock family.
